Neil Donnelly is a Consultant ENT surgeon at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He completed his Undergraduate and Postgraduate training in London. He has gained wide experience in ENT working in a number of major teaching hospitals including Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals, Great Ormond Street and the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery. He has been awarded three prestigious Fellowships that have provided specialist training in Skull Base Surgery, Otology, Hearing Implantation Surgery and Balance Disorders. His interest in hearing and balance disorders is augmented by a Masters degree in Audiovestibular Medicine from University College London.

His areas of responsibility include being clinical lead of the multidisciplinary Vestibular service and the development of an endoscopic anterior and central skull base surgery service.

Neil is actively involved in research team and has a particular interest in the fields of acoustic neuromas, Ménière’s disease, cholesteatoma surgery and hearing implantation outcomes. He is a Specialist Adviser to NICE’s Interventional Procedures Programme. He has published book chapters and over 20 peer reviewed papers.
